Port Gamble Master Plan

Want more and better bike trails at Port Gamble?  Take this survey and help Kitsap County design a master plan for Port Gamble Forest Heritage Park.

Evergreen West Sound has developed a summer dirt camp for your little shredder.  These day camps meet 4 times during a two-week session in the evenings and will focus on skill development and building confidence on the pump track. It's perfect for younger riders who are looking to develop foundational skills on the bike and have a blast while doing it.

West Fest is going to be epic this year!  But to make it great we need your help.  Please join us for the next planning meeting Wednesday February 17, at 6:30 pm.  Click the link below to get the Zoom log-in information.  If you can't make this week, no problem! We meet every third Wednesday at 6:30pm on Zoom.

Meet & Greet & Eat

Evergreen Statewide Board as well as representatives from each chapter are coming to our neck of the woods, and they are throwing us a PARTAY! This is a great chance to talk shop with other chapters from around the state and pre funk ahead of the Ranger grand opening ceremony. Burger bar, beverages, and bonfire provided.

Meet at the Port Gamble RC Airfield (Uplands Trailhead):

Grab the kiddos and their bikes and joined Evergreen Wes Sound instructors for some fun pumtrack skill-building geared toward the kids, and stay for S'mores!

Join Mike Westra - Evergreen Trails Director and learn what it takes to build MTB trails. In the virtual classroom you will learn about grade reversals, slope, drainage and more.

Then put your new skills to work on Saturday 4/17 at 9am. We will meet at the gate off Port Gamble  and will be building a new section of trail

Register in advance for the class:

Join us for volunteering out at Port Gamble Heritage Park! Focus will be on trail maintenance. Meeting point will be the Bayview Entrance.  Each volunteer needs to bring their own gloves, cloth face covering, and any beverages or snacks they may need.

Ranger Corridor Grand Opening

The wait is over - all new Ranger, Cool Runnings, and Owl Pacino are opening on November 7, 2021 at 10:00 am. These are three new progressive lines comprised of blue and black flow trails and a sick jump line. Come on out to the top of Ranger and join us for the ribbon-cutting ceremony and drop in for some awesome party laps all day long. We will have a food truck available on-site, so there's no need to be anywhere but at Ranger that day. See you there

This year, West Fest is going to be better and badder than ever before!  But, we need you help to make it amazing, so please consider volunteering to help with parking, beer garden, kids events, or set-up and take down.

Have you got skills with a bike and a camera?  Submit your short film to EWS to be shown at our Trail Shorts film night on the first night of the West Fest.  Shoot us a quick email and we will send all the information you need to get your short film over to us.  Can't wait to see it!

Join us via zoom on January 27th for the annual member meeting.  Hear all about the trail plans for 2021.  If you have questions or concerns this is your chance to discuss them with your fellow riders and the council.  See you there!
